I got published. The editor asked me if I had a blog and I replied no. Stupid.
And I've had rave reviews about the story. I suppose that had I given her this address then I might've had more writing opportunities. Perhaps, but I've always been too much of an idealist anyway. And because I forgot to change the names of the characters to protect the innocent, then it's just as well.
Right now D (and I mean right now across the street from my work, but he's too much of a guy to want me to show up) is going to face the judge on tiny charges and KISW is playing War pigs by one of D's favorite band. He's so disappointed in what Ozzie has become. Oh well. We all have problems living up to other people's expectations. D and I are no exceptions. Someday, we won't have to worry about that issue, though, because we'll have so much security that 'others' won't matter.
And I'm still so in love with my boy. Still being the guamamama that I am. Still hoping to publish and also exhibit photos about how all at once horrifying and awe-inspiring this place is.
